Autumn snuck in about a week ago and sat down and made herself comfortable. The falls rains have begun, the last wildflowers of the season, the asters, are in bloom, and pantries are filling with the harvest. Tonight is the full harvest moon, so it's full moon dreamboard time and for this dreamboard I don't have a particular dream in mind. I just picked whatever eye candy I found and went with it. I'll let it speak for itself.
This is the time of year when I find myself retreating inward ~ to my home and to myself, for introspection. I find it a particularly good time for writing prose and poetry. Something about the season, when it comes howling in on a brisk northwest wind, stirs the passions for expression and then rest and reflection. May everyone's full harvest dreams come true!
